Youth Ministry

Youth On Bloor is the shared youth ministry Bathurst United provides with Bloor Street United and Trinity-St. Paul’s United.

Youth On Bloor also encourages participation in youth events organized by Toronto South Presbytery of the United Church of Canada, Youth at Toronto Conference of the United Church of Canada, and in other national events.
Other Youth On Bloor activities include social gatherings, retreats, and educational and recreational events fostering Right Relations with First Nations youth.
During August 2008, thirteen youth and four adult volunteers visited Cuba for 10 days.
In August 2006 Youth On Bloor had its Mexico Youth Experience. The young people visited Chiapas in southern Mexico and learned from the Indigenous communities who live there. The group also studied the history and present day politics of the Zapatista movement. In 2004 Youth On Bloor completed a two year Germany-Canada Youth Exchange on Overcoming Violence.
