The Bathurst community is an inclusive, participatory and Affirming Congregation.
We invite and use the gifts of all our members.

We seek to nourish the Spirit by strengthening our connectedness with one another
and with all people, especially the poor and marginalized.We seek to strengthen our
connectedness with the Earth and all creatures.

We understand the Spirit to be revealed not only in Jesus and in the Hebrew and
Christian scriptures; but also in nature and in the spirituality of other traditions.

We recognize and celebrate a wide diversity of ability, gender, origin, age, income
and sexual orientation. We welcome all those who wish to grow with us. We encourage
people to live out their gifts in the life and work of our congregation.
